The viewing and auction of one of the most valuable miniatures in the world, an spectacular but brutal ancient monument of less than 20 mm and 4 grams that represents the death of Julius Caesar by Brutus, was presented at the Bruun Rasmussen auction house a few meters away from the Phoenix Copenhagen, in simultaneity with the exhibition "The future meets the past in the present".
The piece belonged to the Apollo to Apollo collection and it represents the historical period when the works of miniature art started to be used as propaganda.
Another piece from Apollo to Apollo Collection, Cleopatra from ... b.C. , was also displayed at the important auction house.
